Wilesco Showman's Engine D409

A chemically black painted brass boiler, diameter 45 mms, length 150 mms, boiler volume 250 ccms with water gauge glass. Powerful, double acting reversible cylinder with flywheel of d=80 mms. The showman's engine can be run in forward or reverse depending on the movement of the flywheel. Spring loaded safety valve, steam regulator, steam whistle, steam jet oiler and foot bridge, traditional chain steering. A clutch engaged gear wheel permits the use of the engine and the operation of the dynamo either stationary or driving. The dynamo illuminates the eight diodes mounted around the canopy of the engine giving bright lights. The condensed water of this engine is collected below the smoke stack. Operating time about 15 minutes per fuel charge. Heated by dry spirit tablets. All single parts are manufactured from finely varnished metal. Wilesco showmans model steam engine is a superbly crafted faithful reproduction of a typical showmans steam engine complete with dynamo.
