Wilesco steam engine D15

The Wilesco D15 steam engine is mounted on a plate with the boiler alongside the vertical cylinder assembly, fitted pressure gauge and working model.

Mirror polished brass boiler, diameter 55 mm, length 140 mm, boiler capacity 250 ccm, with water gauge glass. Red painted boiler with two foot-bridges and a ladder. Standing double-acting reversible brass cylinder with flywheel, flywheel of 80 diameter with grooved pulley, bearing frame of cast-aluminium, centrifugal governor, steam jet oiler and small manometer combined with a spring loaded safety valve additional steam whistle with chain. Roofed bearing shaft combined with a driving belt to the engine unit. The condensed water is fed to a tank, hidden under the house, causing the chimney to smoke realistically.
